Worx WG782 Cordless Lawn Mower Review
No one likes to have to mow the lawn every season. However, when you have to mow you lawn, you want to make sure that you do it as easily as possible. A good way to start is to have a cord-free mower. This kind of a lawn mower will give you more freedom to mow around the area that needs an instant cut. In addition, you do not want to have to mow your lawn more than once. If you choose the right mower for the area that needs urgent attention, you can be sure that the job will become easier and much more enjoyable – and you might even find that family members want to offer you a little help. So far, we have a few cordless law mowers that we like and the Worx WG782 is one of them. Below is an in-depth review of this cordless mower.
The Worx WG782 Cordless IntelliCutk works off a battery that needs a quick recharge when it runs out of charge. The battery, a 24-volt type, the manufacturer provides is very superior in terms of quality. Once you have this piece of equipment set up, you can be sure that there will be a wonderful well mown lawn for you to look at. Once the battery is charged, you can get going. It really does just take the flick of a switch to get it started. The battery is very easy to remove and reinsert and this means that a lot of tie is not lost while it is being charged. It does however mean that there can be delays if the battery runs down.
Once the mowing process ends, the mulching blade will chop up the grass clippings, making them ready to use as compost— if required. This mower leaves no grass to rot on the ground. It has a a 3-in-1 system to deal with the grass clippings and this means that it will mulch them. The Worx WG782 Cordless will then discharge the finished product to the side. If you want to throw away the clippings, choose the rear bagging system. Bagging means that grass does not remain in the garden to act as fertilizer.
To make sure that there is not a loss of power, and the mower always works when you are ready to use it, there is Intellicut technology fitted. There will not be a loss of power if the grass is a little longer than expected or there are leaves that you need to use as mulch. All you have to do is set the switch to Power and it will boost up to get the job done. Once all the hard work is over, it is simply a matter of setting the Worx WG782 Cordless mower’s Intellicut technology back down to Quiet.
The mower will work in the way required for normal conditions. There will not be a problem when the mower is being used as neighbours will not be disturbed by any unnecessary noises. There is not going to be the choice of a good-looking lawn and happy neighbours and children.
Pros and Cons
There are a number of advantages over normal lawn mowers and the absence of gas is a big one. There will be no need to pull starter cords until the mower starts and there is no danger of gas being spilled. There will be a lot less noise and it is a lot cleaner as there will not be any emissions. One of the biggest safety issues is the fact that there is no any cord, as it is so easy for someone to trip over it, or worse injuries resulting, if the mower runs over it. This has to be countered by the fact that the larger garden may not be suitable for using the mower on. Worx WG782 Cordless is for people with smaller lawns, as its battery does not last more than 40 minutes at a time – around 10,000 square feet. We found this disadvantage in this mower.
Even though it may not last as long as others, it has many special features including those that will keep the lawn and entire garden tidy. It is easy to get it into small places. Therefore, there will not be patches of the lawn that you will miss during the cut. If you have a large lawn, you could miss the ability to mow more.
